On the old penalty takers - Tueart was good, though I do remember him missing a couple; Mark Ward had a very good record, IIRC, taking about ten in his only full season and scoring the lot; Anelka didn't miss one and never looked likely to; and Elano was as good as any. Not quite old enough to remember Franny taking them.
Who should take them now? Barry probably has the best claim, but have seen Adebayor and Tevez put them away convincingly too. Don't fancy Robinho after that pretty poor effort against Sunderland.
