I did read somewhere it was going to be Sterling. But may have been guesswork. Would be interesting to see. Bony does sound more logical.

I loved the fact that Navas had the balls to put his hand up and take the second. After his history in front of goal, particularly when he has time to think about what he needs to do, that was special. Am really delighted for him. He, Kun and Yaya all hit the side netting which is pretty bloody good, particularly with Mignolet going the right way for each.

Sturridge couldn't walk apparently and Henderson or Milner would of been their 5th but they didn't get round to it..

Thats really interesting, I didn't see that so must check it out.
I'm also a Navas fan. He gives a great deal to the squad and doesn't get the credit he deserves. He was like an excited puppy during the celebrations as well which was really fun to see.

I don't think so, your best penalty takers should be 3rd, 4th or 5th as thats where its usually decided and when the pressure is really on. Sometimes you risk your player not getting to take one i.e. Milner on Sunday. Your 1st and 2nd penalty taker when theres not as much pressure should be 2 players that are dependable or really confident. Navas was a surprise but it was a great penalty, Fernandinho dragged his shot, it was pretty poor but he was unlucky. Aguero and Toure's were top drawer, especially Aguero's didn't take his eye off the keeper on his run up untill he struck it.

We hit three perfect pens and they had to be because their keeper picked correctly each time. Navas was a great surprise , I feel he has been a big loss whilst injured. Loved the way he chased after the ball and got the crowd going when he scored.

Klopp has said Milner would have taken the 5th & as someone said Sturridge wasn't down as he cramps.

Glad jimmy didn't have to take one being all sentimental & that, but saying that, wonder if he put his hand up to go last thinking he would net the winner??

As our best pen takers I would have expected Serge and Yaya to be the 4th and 5th? I wonder if they were brought forward when Willie started saving everything. If they were not I can not think of anyone who I would have been confident in taking the 5th pen.

I'm pretty sure you can't change the order, as they have to give it written down to the referee at the start of a shoot out.
