They do write right to left but in Hsilgne. They write in Arabic!
It is about the ink distribution and drying time, as books are created with right handers in mind a pen with slower drying ink will smudge, also due to this lefties tend to have to hold the pen differently to prevent smudging and so the design can be a hindrance.I don't get this as most pens appear to be symmetrical therefore would be the same for right or left handed users; that's certainly the case for felt tip and ball-point pens. I suppose fountain pens could have shaped tips but it's a long time since I used one regularly.
A right handed writer has their hand in front of the words whereas a lefty is behind and so more chance of touching the wet ink in passing. A righty pulls, a lefty pushes :)It is about the ink distribution and drying time, as books are created with right handers in mind a pen with slower drying ink will smudge, also due to this lefties tend to have to hold the pen differently to prevent smudging and so the design can be a hindrance.
I'm somewhat mixed (through forcing myself to learn to use right handed tools). I play guitar right handed, but when I play badminton, I serve left handed and switch to right handed to return. Writing is left handed. Are all of you completely left handed?
I write left handed but am right handed/footed when using a bat or kicking a ball. However, if I were to play a violin, it would be left handed, whilst right for a guitar.
I cannot use a spoon with my right hand though and when I smoked, I used my left hand.
Husband and son are both completely left handed though.
Perfect for blow-darts ;-)Berol handwriting pen, the height of sophistication at school.
It's usually down to the angle you hold the pen. When you hold it left handed, your hand ends up at a weird angle, and many pens just don't sit right.I don't get this as most pens appear to be symmetrical therefore would be the same for right or left handed users; that's certainly the case for felt tip and ball-point pens. Only the numbers. They write in Arabic!
