My car is due it's MOT in March and listening to the sound it's making at the minute, i'd say i'm looking at yet another large sum to have the fucking thing fixed. Me and Mrs P have talked about getting a people carrier for some time now and so with around £8,500 to spend, we might get one sooner rather than later. I have my eyes on a Ford S-Max, whilst she likes the C4 Picasso. I've had 2 fords, both trouble-free, whereas i've had no experiences with Citroen.

Any experiences with either of these cars? Any recommendations of any other cars of this type? (It has to be a 7-seater).

have a look at vw,better resale value than others and usually good reliabilty but usually more expensive

We used to have the C4 Grand Piccaso and it was a good car tbh . Loads of room and was reliable the only downside was where the handbrake was ( on the dashboard ) and when you turn the wheel the centre of it stays where it is which was a bit strange at first ! Overall though a good car for us
