People whinging about 'Wonders of the Universe' now...

It's a top end programme that will probably at least break even when they sell it around the world and also sell the books and DVDs of it.

It will cost the BBC far less to send one bloke around the world with a couple of camera/sound men and buy in some fancy graphics than it costs to hire a dozen camera men, a dozen make-up artists, a big venue and the costs that come with that etc to film something like Strictly Come Dancing over a couple of months.

I don't want to be branded as a criminal and do watch some stuff on the beeb....just not their biased leftwing news.
Personally, I don't like paying for their biased right wing news but I get on with it without complaining because I like Top Gear and BBC documentaries.

You need your head examined if you think the pro Palestine BBC is anything but
extreme left.

Let us not forget that they wanted to strike during thr Conservative Party Conference during Camerons key note speech, until they were warned how disastrous that would prove.

As a leftie I'm amazed you can stomach Top Gear. Did you see the way Clarkson ridiculed the fat twat that is John Prescott the other week?

You need your head examined period. But especially if you think the BBC under Mark Thompson (look him up) is anything but pro Israel. The BBC under Mark Thompson refused to air the Gaza appeal which was not in line with previous policy with humanitarian appeals on the dubious grounds that it was political bias - though of course it didn't apply the same reasoning to Darfur.

Problem is you're mistaking me for the vision you'd have of the typical lefty. Kinda hippie-ish, hates the car, nuclear energy, votes Labour etc. None of that applies to me.

It is noteworthy however, notwithstanding the manifest reason why you feel compelled to refute JOTL's misconception of you, that you assume that everyone thinks you're a lefty.

You should stop being so defensive. I get it, and so do lots of others I'm sure.

Everyone would 'assume' I'm a lefty because I have continually stated I AM A LEFTY. Thus it's not even an assumption.
