People who do nothing, what do you do when you do nothing?

If you have a gym membership hit the gym for an hour. Come back cook a small meal. If you have a pet take them out or play with them. But mostly I play video games, watch shows on netflix and reddit.

I find that when I'm off work, all of my other free time stuff goes to shit too. I just had a week off work, and thought that'd give me more time to practice my Italian, prepare for a course I'm starting in October, plan a holiday I'm going on soon and do a bit of photography. Instead, I spent most of it dicking about on the internet and watching TV shows and did less of the stuff I normally do when I'm working.

If I could get up around 9am, have 25km on my exercise bike, shower, eat baked french bread with spreads and a yogurt for breakfast, drink coffee, do some creative writing, head out to buy stuff for tea, mess around online, have tea, sort myself out and have a few pints down the pub in the evening (preferably with football on) and retire for the night for about six months then I'd be perfectly happy. It's what I do when I have time off. I'd need something to do after that time but I'm ok leading an easy life.
You've read my mind. How did you do that? One addition, twice a week in summer play golf stoned. The footy off season.

I'm at that weird stage where I'm graduating, so I'm in-between jobs and the vast majority of my mates are from uni so therefore at this moment in time, scattered across the country (& Europe, here's looking at you Ibiza season workers, lucky fucks). Those who are in the area would consist of going into town to meet them, which is no drama until you realise that you've almost maxed out your student overdraft and it's probably best to keep the few hundred remaining for transport once you've got that job.

So until I've completed the next stages of my interviews, I'm stuck doing nothing. Which is alright, until you're two days in of doing nothing and you feel like you're the guardian of Bluemoon & Reddit, scouring over it at all hours of the day (& night).

Basically, I'm bored. Entertain me.

Why don't you buy a tent, a bike and two panniers and take yourself off on a cycle tour? Cheap as chips, see the country, create memories to last a lifetime. No boredom

Great minds clearly think alike. Having the time to sit around doing very little is awesome.

"Europe, here's looking at you Ibiza season workers"

Just got back from a month long Euro trip which culminated in 10 days in Ibiza. Work is easy over there, they have adverts in most bars for PR work. I'm thinking of getting a flight and going back to San Antonio. What's stopping you from doing that if you have no job?

Too busy to do nothing to mate. Enjoy it while it lasts. Without sounding like a m.o.f. , you wont be bored or having time on your hands once you start a career. In the meantime, get fit, have some beer and get some womanising done

Learn something. If you're at home with a computer learning a programming language is the cost of the leccy. Or something a bit more exciting like CG, (Maya, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D).
