People who leave 8 minutes before the final whistle

went early when we were 4 nil down after 20 Min's to arsenal, went to the bar just could not take any more

There are no treffic problems unless you are unable to walk 10 mins to your car.

Why par on a big car par right near the ground if you now you can't get off unless you leave early?

There has been almost 6 and a half seasons to find a better spot.

I can understand people leaving early if they have little kids with them, but all these traffic related excuses sound a bit wishy-washy to me.

I conceed leavin' early can be used as a means of protest, and if thats the case for a lot of people then fair enough. I guess if we want to break into the Premier League 'elite' then we are going to end up with 'elite' support and 'fans'.

Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I think football is a day out not something you squeeze between other commitments. There are plenty of people who would kill to scream and shout for the full ninety but sadly won't get their chance because they can't afford it. Flittin' in and out of the match, for a beer or whatever, and leavin' early seems like a waste of a seat to me.

Although perhaps I'm just a tight-fisted bastard who is determined to get me moneys worth from the outrageous amount I've had to fork out.

People who leave 8 minutes before the game ends are immeasurably better than people who leave the game 9 minutes before the end, but not as good as people who leave the ground 7 minutes before the end.

Hahahaha

I could leave a few mins early and could probibly get home in an hour and 10 however me and my son wait till the end and see the team off the park no matter what and then spend 2 hours plus gettin home but Hey Ho my choice doesnt make me any better or worse as a fan.

However I sit near people who no matter whats heppening get up at 37 mins or so and go for a brew and then get up and go off at 80 to go home. Not only do they wind me up by disturbing me to get to their seats but when leaving and we are on the attack or taking a corner they dont even bother watching just heads down and off they go not looking back just whinging as they go.
so what!!!! its their choice! .they can spend 45mins sat on the toilet drinking their brew if they want to. its entirely up to the individual.

They can sit on the roof of the stand and die for all I care, my point is I just get fed up of having to stand up and then having their ugly heads get in the way of the action at an important time and I miss things because of it.

Stop it and get to bed, you're tired and have work tomoz.
Nice to see people lining up to have a pop as always.

If going to the football takes so much out of your day that you regularly leave to beat the traffic, then what's the point? How many people go to the movies and go "I wonder if Thelma and Louise are going to make it to the border? No matter, I have a train to catch, I'm off"?

If I were to take your logic it may become pointless me having a season ticket. Working shifts I often have to leave a few minutes early or risk being late, or if someone is covering me I feel it's only fair that I try to get there as soon as possible. So I should stop going then? The wife and kids can make their own way by the ever relieable public transport, they should make it home by 9pm on a good day! or maybe they should just give up going themselves, after all to catch an earlier train would mean them leaving early!
As it is we miss the last few miutes but catch it on the radio, enjoy the day out, and feel like we have contributed our bit during our 80 odd minutes at the match.
People have lives outside of football, without a job I would not be able to go to watch City at all, therefore it has to balance out, if that means me leaving early then so be it, if I am a lesser fan or person because of that then so be it, deal with it, I have my life, how I live it is up to me.

No doubt this has been discussed many times but nevertheless...

We were drawing in a crucial match today and people were walking out in their hundreds with 8 minutes left on the clock.

These people need to sort their fucking heads out, no matter how far away they live or how bad the traffic is. It is a shit message to send to the team who should be going up the other end and looking for a winner.

Pathetic support whoever you are.
two points, one isn't it kiams job to do a thread like this? and second, what a tit for posting this. people leave early and always will for numerous reasons.
