I used to see him every week a few years ago. His son worked for Rochdale council and he lived on the same close as us. Jimmy used to visit his grandchildren at least once a week and he was always a complete gent. He never failed to say hello and always had a smile on his face.

About time we had a black and white Xmas channel. Loved all that as a kid.
