How many times can we say this a season before people start to consider there being an underlying issue?
We are making tons of chances,he can't make them score them
I'm a big critic but today that is on the players not scoring
Everyone was in the right positions
The game plan was fine
For whatever reason the lads have loss confidence

He couldn't get the players to score their chances and stop conceding the first attempt on target.

So, he couldn't do that in 16/17, then he could do it the next two seasons, and he can't do it this season again. That's the underlying issue? In 16/17 he was a bad manager, then the best in the world and now he is back to being bad.

Is it not his responsibility to help them regain that confidence?

Like I said, the buck stops with him.

I don't care what he's done previously, you are only as good as your last game.

- The constant playing of Fernandinho at CB when we have CB's on the bench.
- The constant pairing of Rodri and Gundogan when it's clear it does not work
- The over playing of David Silva
- The over playing of Raheem Sterling
- The under playing of Foden
- Baffling substitutions
- Baffling team selections
- His loyalty to poor performing players

It's been a very poor year for Pep. Do i want him to go? Do i balls but he deserves all criticism that comes his way and if he wasn't so arrogant and stubborn i think people would give him the benefit of the doubt.

He really needs to get his head out of his arse and buck up, at times he is too clever for his own good. Just pick the best players in their correct positions!
Spot on. Well said. Bet he’ll still pick Raz for our next game even though he’s out injured!

It wasn’t. If our players keep missing chances, can any of the blame be put on pep? Because our main problem at the minute is out playing teams and getting punished for not scoring.

It's a recurrent issue, not an anomaly.

We might outplay the opposition near enough every time in midfield but we certainly don't outplay them in defence.

He doesn't take the shots but he's calling them. The same players who can't defend or finish to save their lives are being picked week in week out and if he's going to be stubborn and stick with them then it's his responsibility to raise their confidence and get the most out of them.

The players are far from blameless and neither is he.
