I doubt that, somehow I think Pep knew about this before the news hits the media, that's why he had that "if I don't win the UCL this season, I would get sacked" interview, it all seems well calculated. Mikel Arteta leaving was also a sign of things to come but no one really saw it from that perspective.
Oh dear,sane and pep eh

If he does rock up at a cartel club i would be dissapointed in him, especially after his stand for the catalonian MPs . I always thought Pep had a thing for the underdog in him, a stand against injustice well if he has then he wont find a bigger injustice than this !

He will more than likely leave as we will get at least a 1 year ban after all avenues are exhausted. I doubt we have done too much wrong and this has been driven by the cartel clubs, one of which Pep will probably rock up at next season.

Much will perhaps depend on whether he considers the club have in some way pulled the wool over his eyes.

Should that be the case and were it to become obvious that were the case then nobody could surely blame him for leaving and indeed rocking up at one of those clubs.

If however he has been fully informed about what is going on and he is aware and believes this whole thing is the stitch up that we believe it to be then it would look very bad indeed were he to run away and join the said cartel.

We will have to wait and see what comes out in the coming days. One way or another it is going to cause an almighty shit storm and Pep has got some decisions to make that will provide us with many answers.

There are plenty of footballing reasons for him to stay - winning back the PL for one - but if he thinks the club has been lying to him he will leave, and I wouldn't blame him.

He's an honourable person, so I'd expect him to honour his contract but then leave, especially if the circumstances are radically changed and we face say a year-long ban and perhaps a transfer embargo; he'd know then that he'd probably have to commit far longer to achieve European success, and that may not be appealing.

Don't know why, but I can only see him managing Brazil in the future.

His body language and the like this season says to me that he is on the verge of going. I think 4 years is a good run though and we can thank him if he does decide to go. This relentless shit we get in the media must be draining.
