Thanks for that video. That one made me mad. Raz not being able to pass 5 yards clean and easy on Jesus' left foot in the fuckin 3rd minute!
Put it in and their wheels would have fallen off in a big explosion.

What in hell does that have to do with an "un-balanced midfield"?
We made too many silly mistakes and still had the chance to win the game later on.

with a more balanced midfield we could've created more chances, without leaving ourselves exposed.

but with what we had to play (Rodri & Gundo Holding), it puts more pressure on us to be clinical, because as we have seen everytime we play against a 5-3-2 / 4-4-2 we usually struggle to continuously create chances.

that's what I mean by us needing a perfect game & the midfield hindered us.

but I'm losing my generous patience
when I see how Raz is shitting himself.

Unbalanced mid is a poor excuse.
We bottled it in far too many situations and in my book it's about attitude and desire and not tactical details.
Nagelsmann said the same in the video comments, and many others.

As I already said, let Raz square it nice to Jesus in the 3rd minute
and we could have spared hundreds of pages about tactics and setup.

Is it not Pep's job to instill confidence in his players? A manager's job is far more than simply deciding the tactical details.

He's just not the man for knockout competitions.

Tbf that was a good stop by the defender however we are far to wasteful if we even converted half the missed ones we would be scoring 200 goals a season, we need to be far more clinical.

We were knocked out on away goals and we didn't get battered in the first leg and were a VAR decision away from knocking Spurs out. As for Lyon up until the second dodgy goal we were back in the game desite the pale first half display ffs. He has and always will be a better manager than Poch. You too get a grip.

I’m not arsed about Poch and wasn’t comparing them. I never said we got battered I said we didn’t create much(wonder why). Not disputing we were back in the game and looked the most likely to win until a defensive howler and then a poor VAR decision. We’re a better team than Lyon though as well as Spurs so play your best way for 180 minutes or 90.
