Problem is its wholesale changes

Not 5 or 6 players, but why rotate 9? (and 8 in the cup game)

I'm glad we have our best XI for once, the team we will likely see in the final but doesn't mean he has to have to have B team....

Ederson
Cancelo Dias Laporte Zinch
Gundogan Rodri
Sterling Foden Jesus
Aguero (who everyone wanted to start tbf)

There you go, 6 changes but no need to line up with a back 5 or a single midfielder

That team above probably wins that game

Pep....

As I said only saving grace is he does now have a prefered XI

Pep, pls never change full 11. Must start atleast 4-5 players in form..

The point of rotation is to get players healthy and fresh for finish of the season. Rotate 4-5 players is ok. Rotate whole squad is madness.

we lost fa cup
we lost last few games in PL
we still have final to play
Stop Pep

Proper officiating would have awarded us a penalty in the 89th minute and we would have won 2-1, won the league and any criticism of Pep would be unfounded. We have a good enough squad to beat anyone at anytime and it’s the players that need to perform which they did today but Anthony Taylor had a a darker blue whistle in his mouth

Are you that confident we would have scored it ? We must have the worst record in the league for pens. It’s scandalous how many we miss.

I don't agree with the manager criticism. He's picked a side with a lot of talented players who had a chance to stake a claim for the final.

I’d have more sympathy with that position if he hadn’t done the exact same thing 3 times in 3 weeks and lost on every occasion. We had several warning signs against 10 man Leeds, yet conceded in stoppage time, had even more warning signs in the FA Cup semi and duly lost, and yet more again today, before conceding in stoppage time.
We made 8 or 9 changes for each, barely looked like scoring ourselves, but were opened up continually by the opposition (especially by Chelsea today). Mendy, Sterling, Torres, Rodri, Cancelo, it’s the same players offering next to nothing every time, to the point that the only person who seems surprised by the outcome is Pep himself.

All I am wondering whats his plan next year with the likes of Jesus, Sterling. He praises them front of cameras but keeps them away from starting line up more and more. Imo Pep was the main reason Kun wasnt offered a proper extension, and to be fair its hard to see him go I cant see him having enough in the tank to help us especially the way Pep wants to play. Also Kun's ego would not allow for this constant benching.

With a proper pre season we might go back to stronger pressing style if we can build up fitness levels well enough and Kun has no place in that. We need to evolve tactically and Pep knows how hard the next season is after a title win. If we win CL then we need to shake the squad imo transfer wise to make sure nobody will be happy to sit on past success and lose hunger. Its very hard to keep up the level of motivation I cannot even see how Real M. won 3 CL's in a row not that long ago. Getting to a final is already pretty hard we only managed it once in 10 years of trying and yet to win it...
