Pep Guardiola - 2022/23

Despite my concerns, I don’t think Pep is being helped by the board. It’s clear as day Pep wanted Kane, but we wouldn’t pay the money. Pep was right in that he would have fitted into this teams style of play better than Haaland (who is great player). Also not convinced that other squad signings are his either.

It wouldn’t surprise me if there was some unhappiness in the locker room.

A couple of very popular players left the club feeling they were forced out and weren’t in fair fights for their place, while Bernardo is talking everyone who’ll listen he can’t wait to leave (despite the fact Pep says all the time he never wants players who don’t want to be here), Cancelo is sulking and costing us games but still getting picked every week, Mahrez goes weeks between good games and the captain hasn’t decided if he wants to stay past June.

The only players having a good season are the 18 year old who’s just broken through, the new signings, and Rodri, who is the most grounded and detached from football footballer on the planet.

What I find so frustrating is that all the key ingredients are still there. There’s nothing that can’t be fixed, we’ve still got loads of time, and yet it just keeps dragging on.
Exactly - what has changed since the last derby when we looked unbeatable for 45 minutes. Something very wrong and Pep saying he'll be off if the players don't love him anymore ain't helping.

Don’t blame the board Spurs wanted over 100 million for a 29 year old.

Calls for letting Pep go are good in theory but he extended recently and our management hasn't even given a single thought about replacement. There isn't a given a good manager around who can keep us on level Pep has produced.
And Pep must be backed completely to turn this around unless he himself walks away

But yes for the first time probably management has to talk to manager and Players, they don't interfere but here intervention is required.

I don’t think anyone wants pep to go.

There’s people blaming pep for the current situation and there are people saying this feels like it might be the beginning of the end, but apart from a couple of people saying they’re annoyed with him, I think everyone just wants him to wake up and fix things, not leave.

Should have gone a lot harder with his words over the offside decision.
call it for what is it, a disgraceful decision, question the constant fouling allowed, bring up previous issues we have had with Oliver inc that incredibly soft pen in the 6-3
