Why did Pep leave Munich? Had he lost the dressing room or just his normal 3 years and I’m off?

Pep left Bayern after he felt they weren’t signing the players or kind of players he was asking for.

I think he wanted Sterling Suarez Veratti Hazard and others over a few transfer windows and didn’t get any of them.

The midfield for the rest of this season (bar injuries) is probably: De Bruyne - Rodri - Gundo. It has its weaknesses of course but still is the best midfield trio amongst the available. I hope Pep goes back to that proven selection.

The only thing proven about it is a lack of mobility and athleticism and next to no recovery ability......its just about our worst trio.

I wouldn’t disagree too much. Toss up between de Bruyne, Silva and Gundogan as none of them are exactly in top form but at top form I’d have de Bruyne. I’d also like to see Grealish played there.

Our entire defence is injured constantly. We have needed a left back since zabba left & central midfielder since silva left.

We never have a complete squad it seems. Yes we have spent cash but we have sold just as much. Our squad is average

Agreed,but does not mean questions cannot be asked. Pep had every right to question the players and the fans. Works both ways.

I actually see pep walking this season.

It will take at least 2 transfer windows to sort this out. We have let complacency set in all over the club. Our transfers have not been great. It’s all 1 step forward 2 back

We need first team replacements not squad players.

We need 2/3 defenders. What we have are never fit

2/3 midfielders. Gundy too old, Bernardo wants out, Phillips is a sick note & Kev not consistent

At least 1 more striker. Haaland needs specific service. Alvarez still learning

We need a captain & somebody to replace Arteta. Players loved him.

The club have allowed it all to go very stale sadly

In a nutshell then... He wasn't getting his own way so he took his ball home.

He can't handle not having full control, but won't accept responsibility when things go wrong.

It was the Board at Bayern, it's the media and the fans at City. Never his fault. He's an ego maniac. Great when it all works, a nightmare when it doesn't.
