if we don't win anything we will build for the following season, as for pep and the club being mocked,by who , people on twitter or facebook, im sure they wont give a fuck(about being mocked,not winning stuff)

Pretty standard press conference. He wished Cancelo all the best and said he wanted to leave so he could play every game and that he doesn't know what'll happen when he comes back in the summer.

Then just talked out Stones being out for 3/4 weeks, the quality of spurs on the counter and that we haven't won at their new ground despite playing well and having chances at times (2 penalty misses etc).

Then just provided an update on who could play left-back including Rico the list of usual suspects.

Also mentioned the media scrutiny of city's spending vs Chelsea's and that he won't forget about the 9 premier league clubs who tried to get city banned.

He slagged Cancelo off in a 10 minute rant which is exactly what the gutter press hounds wanted and boy did they lap it up....

In the real world, he talked warmly about Cancelo just wanting to play, complimentary in the extreme about his talent and was genuine in wishing him the very best he was pure class as usual.

He gets his point across perfectly with a hint of sarcasm. He knows what is going on in the media and doesn’t go far enough for the gutter dwelling journos to jump on it but says just enough to let us know what he thinks of the twats and pgmol
 
Go Pep!!! He called it out. We would have been criticised form all quarters with Chelsea’s spending. He mentioned the letters, I will say that again he mentioned the LETTERS. No way this man is walking away from our club anytime soon. He sees the injustice. Lovely quote about the number of titles. He certainly went out to bat for us today.
 
The racist/stifle competition attacks has backfired big time on the cartel. Forget the media war as we unfortunately are along way from winning that but what we have won is a shit load of trophies and grown the club organically after a huge cash injection.

I would say the abuse galvanised the club. It’s always good to have extra motivation and the hateful 8/9 with Uefa underhand tactics certainly did just that.

I'm glad he's started to take some veiled shots at the board tbh, they seem to be magnetically drawn towards balancing the books in a similar way arsenal did under wenger that caused them to fall away from being genuine contenders.

If rivals spend more than you, if you insist on never getting the wrong end of a deal and spending what you sell then i don't see how particularly post Pep we don't get usurped. Board need a check and glad he's started to give it.

In solidarity with Conte being ill, he’s clearly refused to manage the team… again. Garbage.
