We play one inverted fullback + one traditional fullback + two CBs in the past.

Now we play with one inverted fullback + 3 CBs.

It means the opposition can double triple on the wingers fully knowing no one will come up to support them...

And even worse with 3 CBs we still cannot defend properly at the back. Grey can turn slip and get up with tons of rooms in the box then practise shooting....
No we didn’t on the lrft Zinchenko and Cancelo both came in, Walker has been coming inside for years.

How is it nonsense we’ve been playing inverted fullbacks pretty much the last 5 years, why would he suddenly change it against Everton at home, how is that a gimmick, certainly not the reason we drew the game.
One of...

Many reasons why points get dropped, mainly though its real life sport with 2 teams, it happens. Not changing our fullbacks for no reason isn’t one.
1-1 in the 65th at home to Everton is no reason to perhaps bring on Cancelo for Ake? What must I be thinking?

How many world class managers will this man create?

Already got

Tito Vilanova (RIP)
Luis Enrique (won treble with Barca)
Mikel Arteta
Vincent Kompany (on the start of his journey)

Gundogan to be next?

I mean top 10 players ib the world. Obviously City has at least 10 players that are top 10 in their position but so does Liverpool, Arsenal, ManU Chelsea Tottenham... When you see our squad, who other than KDB (and now Haaland) are superstars with their national teams? None, I don't think any of our players are even in the top 3 in their national team (except Mahrez, but it is Algeria). That tells you all you need to know. Our squad is great, but it's not far superior to most big teams.

Take your head out of the sand.

We're miles off standards of 2018/19 and, although we've been successful, we've dropped off quite significantly this season.

We'll need to improve massively over the rest of the season to win the PL this year. I won't be surprised if we do win it, because that's what we do, but we're probably going to have to do it the hard way.
Why? We are much better the last two seasons than 18/19. We are much more balanced and tougher to beat. We would never lose against Tottenham at UCL now. And we are still doing +90 points in the PL. We are better at UCL, and we are still just as good at the PL. We are certainly a slower team, but that also makes us more balanced.

Play City 18/19 agains the City from last two seasons, and I am pretty confident on who wins the tie.

If you walked onto a public forum as a pundit with that narrative you would be plain ridiculed. LMFAO

The last quotes from pep about no pressure on all the other teams because they ain’t expected to win the league unlike us! I mentioned this few days ago it’s easier for other teams when top four is there only target!
