I will happily admit that despite his success and clear genius, I didn't feel the love for him that I did with Mancini initially. He said too many positive things about the history boys and downplayed us. I know it was to protect the players from pressure, but it used to annoy me (didn't take much back then). I have to say that it didn't last long. He's the fucking greatest. And I think he really really fell in love with the club and completely got us when those PL charges dropped. He saw what we've had to deal with and understood why we are the way we are. For a man who grew up a Barca fan, played and managed them and then Bayern he probably never realised what life was like outside of the elite history wankers. But that day really cemented it.
Before he arrived we'd won 4 league titles, 5 FA Cups and 4 league cups. He's won 5 league titles, 2 FA Cups, 4 League Cups and the CL and Super Cup. He's won as much in his tenure here than we ever had before in terms of the number of trophies. I'm so glad he took us to the CL last season and we won the treble. Whatever happens from here is a bonus for me, but luckily he doesn't work like that. He'll want to do it all again.
