He could but Pep has never played 6 defensive players a back 4 and 2 DMs, no reason to think he’d start now.That’s why having a player like Stone playing centre back and stepping into midfield is so effective.
If and when KDB returns any DM player we buy is always going to be second fiddle to Rodri which is why buying a back up good enough is such an problem.

The reality is we already played all the difficult fixtures for the 1st half, the next 5 games are pretty easy. The next 11 games are easy except Newcastle away, and Liverpool and Arsenal have to play soon.

Yep and Akanji said the players as well as heated discussion but he will keep what they said in the dressing room!

Home: Sheffield, Palace, Burnley, United, Brentford and Chelsea.

At the Etihad we should win all of those, and except Newcastle the away games are as easy as it can get.

As much as the players are letting us down I hope he also looks at his decisions as well and doesnt think he has been perfect.

He is asking some players to do a role they arent suited in and the balance isnt the best in the middle.
