Pep Guardiola - 2025/26

dont think his ego will take it losing a title to a Slot who was a debuting manager in PL with zero top class experience and then Arteta his own padavan growing on top of him.

he needs to deliver this season imo, otherwise his ego will break. he never had two domestic seasons in a row without a title. he said many times he feels very good about this season unlike last one.

what the fck are u blatherin on about you melt

If he doesn't reflect on today's bench and realize that having a small squad has largely contributed to the performances of late, then not sure what he expects. 4 seats for academy players who aren't going to play unless we're up 3/4 nil with 5 minutes to go might as well be empty.

Haaland, Nunes, OReilly, Foden hardly rotated last few months, and they look like low on energy. dont know when they will be rotated other than maybe Exeter City. its gonna backfire imo, % of injury imo very high for them in next few weeks if kept being played all minutes of all games. but we had Ait Nouri and MArmoush spending long games on the bench even before Afcon so clearly its planned like this.

don't blame him today. not sure what else he could have done, squad is that stretched.
Lots of teams use kids on bench

It’s something Pep exclusive that he won’t use and this forum justifying it saying they are not ready.
Literally all the sports and football included use those young kids when time comes but Pep won’t use them and will let existing players tire off till they can’t play or pick injury

Don’t thing those kids on bench would have done any worse than Foden or Cherki today

If he's the best manager in the world he should be able to get more out of the millions we've spent on this "rebuild".

What would 'getting more out of' this squad look like? We have had one fit DM in the last 3 months... And he wasn't even a DM a year ago. Yet we are still in with a chance to win the title.

Arsenal have been building their team for 5 years now, have spent more than us and have won fuck all. Liverpool spent 450m in the summer and are well below us (you didn't expect it, right?).

The idea that the best manager in the world needs just several months to build the best team in the world is rather silly.

Our team is boring to watch now; patterns of play and 1 touch passing are not there. Only the individual brilliance of Doku and Cherki makes us watchable

Weve been hit & miss all season .
He wanted a small squad but he doesn't trust the fringe players .
He has run his regulars into the ground now we will see if the wheels are about to come off our season or somehow we manage & get through it .

Said on another thread but he should have trusted his squad more in October and November.

Marmoush, Savinho, Ait-Nouri and Khusanov needed to play more during that period because this team looks done mentally and physically.
Marmoush's treatment has been a disgrace, coming on in the 87th minute every single game.
