Pep Guardiola - 2025/26

Carful what you wish for pal
Look at arsenal they wanted wenger out.
A couple of cups and second since.

The rags since that twat left...a billion for a load of shit.
Only man who can get us close is pep.
Sure but look how much he's been backed regarding transfers. There are definitely holes in the squad, but as a whole it's not nearly as bad as some of the performances we've been seeing the past couple years.

Not particularly surprised by the result or the performance. For all the talk of our big squad, the reality is that Guardiola has been functioning for the last 18 games in precisely the same way he did with a smaller squad. That’s left us with 10 senior professionals who are undercooked and underperforming.

It’s also patent that without Rodri or Silva we have a lack of senior leaders in the midfield/attack.

Thats bollocks. So once pep goes were done? Never be close to winning again? Bollocks

I agree but tonight his selection was self sabotage. He has gave his haters ammunition to ask for him to go.

I’m still convinced he’ll announce he’s off sometime in the new year and a new manager will be announced who that is god knows

If it up to ever signs the players it will be someone like potter or Moyes

Board has given him about 400 million in 2025 to spend and bar Donna, it looks like a huge waste. Football is pace, energy and power now, look how easy they walked through our slow team tonight. New direction is now needed before we slip further behind the best
Not sure he’s had much say on transfers since Viana came in tbf but there’s no defending that team selection today.

Lost before we stepped out.

45 mins completely wasted against a good CL side. That starting lineup would have you thinking we are playing Madrid this weekend.

Too many changes and the age old problem of being vulnerable to counter attacks. Still the ball in his court if he wants to walk away at the end of the season. Could do with Rodri being back into contention.

Whether Pep fucked the line up tonight or not, the harsh reality is, with the brutal schedule soon coming in, eventually the bench players will have to play. He gave this match a chance to 10 out of 11 players to prove that they can be trusted. And none of them made a point.

I'm not saying that
We might land on a good one for a season like thedippers with slot.
But we will never hit the heights pep took us to ever again.
In ten years after he leaves we more than likely will still be looking for the one.
It won't come.

He's here now

Fucking Arrogance…. Simple every fan who turned up tonight should get refund and others who pay for dodgy box should get next 6 months free….

I agree there but think we need to accept that we will never have that period of dominance again and were lucky to have witnessed it. But our resources we have to be up there always and still winning things albeit not as regular as we become accustomed to

Yeah I get that point but also what a brutal way to give some of the subs a chance to perform in a starting eleven. Maybe some of them would have done better in a more fluid team that's had more time to gel together on the pitch.

Was this the big "two fingers" to the board?

This is what you've bought me, kind of thing.

I mean there's a clear best 11 that has been played an unusual amount of times this year, this 11 felt very very left field and had something of a protest about it.
