Pep Out

We knew he was a great manager before tonight and now we know he is a lucky one as well. Great combination of traits to have.

Now let's hope he can engineer a win over Barca in the next round while we take out Athletico....

I'd rather Bayern would have gone out but I didn't half get cheered up seeing the man in action.

I don't get it at all. The champions league thread was like a pro Bayern one. I was given a response of 'oh dear' when I asked why they wanted the fuckers to win and suggested if pep had never been appointed it would all be in the German rags thread

It's too fickle.

Don't carry this on into this thread please.

But if it was an argument the majority agree with it would be OK? That is the impression I get.
Does it matter ?

Some are pleased to see Pep turn it round (in the hope he'll improve on what we currently have).

None of what happened tonight is conclusive either way, because he was 2 minutes from completely f*cking it up. I don't think it strengthens the idea he will be the messiah here as many just assume.

Your point refers to the other forum's thread, its best left there.

When you see the pace in that team we look like a team of OAP's.

Can't wait to see what he will do for Sterling
Probably not much, if you look at Douglas Costa today his technical ability is miles ahead of sterling.

Great character and tenacity from Bayern to battle back. Remember the days we were like that?

If even Bony had been playing for Bayern tonight he would have looked a completely different player never mind Sterling. There is absolutely nothing on earth stopping us switching tactics & firing crosses and diagonals into the box like Bayern did tonight yet we just pkayed tge same fuckibg way for 90 mins v Norwich & they change it again & again & pull two goals back v the Italian Champions, a team who it never happens to, who were playing out of their skins.

Different class of manager altogether. No way should Bayern have won that with those wankers in defence.
