Pep/Redmond incident - No Further Action.

Am I right in saying that Pardew didn't receive any punishment for yelling at Pellgrini and calling him a ****?

I actually wouldn't mind him getting a ban for the derby. It's pretty obvious that the players would run though brick walls for him as it is. Imagine how pumped up they'd be to avenge his cause if he was given a ridiculous ban!
As patently unjust as the FA's actions are (you can attempt to kick an opponent twice and nothing is said about it, but dare to try to encourage an opposing player to actually play better against your own side....), I think you may actually have a point there.

Was just thinking the exact same thing. Getting the players' backs up is not a good idea . Football history is rife with examples where if a team feels hard done by before a big game they play out of their skin to avenge it or put things right .

They got Aguero banned for the swamp derby last season , so its par for the cause to get Pep banned for this one , remind me , how did the Kun ban work out for the scum last season ?

Iheanacho scored the winner as his replacement after creating the opening goal:)
