Pep/Redmond incident - No Further Action.

The point about cultural differences is spot on. All those jonny foreigners shout and wave their arms about all the time. (Sorry , just playing at being Tufton Bufton).

If i was Pep i would just say that I have no more to add to the matter.
Pep should ask them to address him in Spanish, so he fully understands the subtle nature of their objections.

Not sure why Pep has been summoned by the F. A. , if the opposing player or manager had complained then fair enough , but Redmond explained it was amicable and Pep was complimentary much to the disappointment of the media , the F.A. are using trial by media and its totally wrong they should look a the facts not the lies printed in The Sun by some knobhead lip reader. The amount of coverage has been ridiculous , especially when you see a £100m striker kick an opponent in the bollocks not once , but twice and there is virtually no comments about this obvious and blatant case of violent conduct.

Just so that it's clear, Pep encourages an opposing player to play to their strengths, echoed by the player himself and is summoned to the FA while another player hopes for injuries to opposing players without any rebuke

Strange times

So, by Monday we could see Pep handed an unprecedented touchline ban, and Carlton's Red Card rescinded.

And the funny thing is, I really wouldn't be surprised.

That would be good. Give us something to get stuck into in terms of a bit of drama.

All this sexy, joyful, stylish and successful football contributes to a general sense of positivity and optimism which, as a City supporter of some years now, I find a touch discombobulating.
