Pep (Sky Interview)

Can you see Jose or Klipperty being invited to do this.

Not sure if we should take it as a compliment or not?

Klopp's already done it, he was excellent as well. He said David Silva is his favourite player in the Premier League.

I know a lot of top, top coaches(I used to coach american football for 5 years) and let me tell you, listening to Pep is like listening to the top, elite guys. The passion for his process and the tactics. He's a proper, proper coach.

He is the top elite guy!

There’s two big thick books about it from his time at Bayern still not stopped us. He isn’t giving away anything that rival managers don’t know

He was being quite careful not to give too much away. I still don't know if City have a pitch marked out with zones at the CFA like he did at Bayern but if they do, they never show as far as I am aware on club videos and he did not refer to it tonight, which he could have in response to one question.

Very clever man.
Said a lot but gave away very little that wasn’t already known.
Bamboozeled Neville no end despite ratboy’s all too obvious attempts to tap into his secrets.
Truth is we are becoming the ultimate team, one that plays like a real unit. It’s done through drilling over and over again on set patterns of play. When players move in a certain direction all others know what to do and where to go. It looks very simple but extremely complicated to achieve. That’s Pep’s secret and why nobody else can emulate it.
The man is an absolute genius!

About that, I think he's serious, and everything he said tonight said that.

Football is simple, have the ball, work it well, create scoring chances, we do it very well (even if I don't think we score from enough imho).

That was the biggest thing that came out of it, and, don't work hard enough, and you won't play.

Pep's positional play ain't that simple, that's one reason it took time for the team to get to the right level.

Nice programme with a couple of classic moments. Nothing really new in there in terms of information but it did demonstrate what a likable personality he is and just how quick his football brain is.

Pep’s only fault was every time he mentioned “big clubs” he included rags ;), fantastic program apart from that

Pep is a genius, it infuriated me when we had such great midfielders that Bobby Manc and Pellers who are both, quite rightly legends, sometimes reverted to the Goalkeeper lumping the ball over the top missing out very talented midfielders, Pep is the man.
