What I mean is were specifically hiring someone whos similar to pep. Plays same way, same principles. Wont change anything within club etcIf that were remotely true I’d cream my pants.
There’s no one close.
You can only win the comps you’re in - but not all of them if you have a shit board that tells you which players you can haveThey won a weird friendly summer tournament and a European competition where they had outspent the entire rest of the field combined. I dunno. Guess Ill wait and see!
Chelsea fan I know, who knows his stuff, said they looked very good with plan A most of the time, Maresca’s weakness is having a plan B in-game when something goes wrong.
Ironically that’s what one or two have said about Pep in the heat of the moment.
Better than ‘The Quitter Stand’ ; )The Josep Guardiola Sala Stadium
Holt is acting like a first class **** as alwaysI hate the profession generally but they’re not going to wait for fucking Arsenal to finish.
They want to get the story out to generate activity on their platforms.
It’s just business.
They’re all biased cunts but on this occasion, I don’t blame them. Most have said positive things about Pep in the releases.
I dont know its going to be hard watching us going from complete dominance to competing for the top 4 and a sporadic title now and again because that is how difficult the league has become due to the City/Liverpool battles effectively improving everyone below sonthey could stay in touch. Pep made the league more difficult and continued to evolve and dominate and just as he is close to his full transformation again he goes
Just read a match report , they scored from a corner and Havertz avoided a nailed on red card , the Goons are certainly riding their luckIt wasn’t great from Burnley , it was more that arsenal are shit, as was the ref and var
I’m not emotionally mature enough for this shit.
He would never use subs early enough until Pep 2 arrivedCould not be more wrong, if they did. Pep's great, great strength for much of his tenure here has been knowing how to tweak it, in game, or at half-time. We won't have another manager as good at doing that, whatever else his strengths might be, because Pep is a peerless reader of a game and seeing which way it's flowing. Perhaps the greatest there's ever been.
That hasn't always been true, there have inevitably been matches where he stuck rigidly to what we'd been doing even when it clearly wasn't working, but they've been very, very rare. Last season he was almost obliged to because of the slaughter list in terms of injuries.
Just to add (in case it hasn't been mentioned), in terms of games managed, he'll surpass McDowall as having managed the most when we play Villa.Really well put.
Big difference this time is that The Mail and The Athletic have both made actual calls in their headlines.Mokbel along with Sam Lee have been doing this will he won’t he line for fucking months now and when read the article it tells you nothing new.
The noise is he’s off but those two cunts are not wired in but making noise is traffic.
Don’t need a plan b if a can be tweaks and works. It’s how pep stays ahead.
That’s true enough to be fair mate, guess we’ll see.The thing is , its not fresh ideas though is it? Were purposely hiring a carbon copy of pep?
