Pep to leave at the end of the season

If the 115 verdict had been launched the day before the cup final that would not have surprised me. The timing and method of this has.
Not much the club can do now though other than find the leak and cut their bollocks off with a very blunt knife.
Damage done.
 
I think we all knew Pep would leave one day, and recently it has become apparent that it would be sooner rather than later. But I also thought that Pep would then advise Khaldoon & Viana on who he thought was the best person to succeed him? So is Maresca Pep's anointed successor, or have Khaldoon & Viana just gone with the person they wanted?
I would like to think Maresca is Pep's choice, but in any case I think we all have to give Enzo our full support and not start getting on his back if we have one or two early season defeats.
I'm sure Khaldoon would act sooner rather than later if he thought he was not up to it, but hopefully we will not become an unmanageable club like Liverpool and United did after their star managers left.

We all saw this coming ! Shame it leaked out when it did! If the arse are to win it on sunday it would have took all the limelight off them!!!

He has to leave eventually. Would be incredibly fitting to go out on a treble. We will never again have a decade like we've just had even though I'm sure we will have good times ahead. Will be interesting to see how to rest of the league play against a Pepless city and how we might change also.

Actually don't think Pep will do 10 years at another job. We've been blessed to have each other

Slightly before my time but I imagine it was sad when the likes of Joe Mercer, Malcolm Allison and Colin Bell departed the club it was a gut punch. The club is still here and life goes on, we won league titles and competed in the champions league before Pep, the world outside of the club is rejoicing thinking our success will come grinding to a stop. They will be wrong.,
