Pep to leave at the end of the season

Hard to finally hear the news but it’s good it’s not been left any longer. Tributes on Wednesday for Bernardo, Thursday for Stones, Friday for Pep. Okay it got a bit messy but the club showed a bit of class giving each the time and space they deserved.

Not sure how I will be on Sunday, this is three beautiful people we’re waving goodbye to. Three legends.

I’d better stop there …

I'm not even ashamed to say it, I'm at work and yes I've shed a few tears. Beyond fuckin Gutted, thank you Mr Josep Guardiola. Forever one of us.

Me too. I'm shedding them too at work.

This sad day was always coming.

I love you Pep....thank you so much for everything...

You're always one of us. Loved, admired, respected greatly and eternally....

Very best wishes in whatever you do.

We have been so lucky to experience this era of City. It will be talked about for generations to come. All the best for the future Gaffer

The tensions in his voice, the keeping together, then his voice breaking right at the last line before it cuts out, fucking hell! Scott Hutchison wouldn't have delivered that shit better. Crying the shit out

Cried my eyes out watching that video.
I’ve interrupted our holiday and booked flights to come back to Manchester for two days to say goodbye to Pep, Jonny Stones and Bernardo on Sunday/Monday.
Going to be so emotional.
Pep, you’ve given me memories I never thought I would have.
Memories for all my family to remember with great fondness and happiness.
And for that, I will be eternally grateful.
We love you Pep like a family member and we’re going to miss you but good luck on your future endeavours, wherever life takes you.
I hope you are blessed with love, good health, peace and happiness.

Thanks for everything Pep, absolutely the best decade ever to be a City fan, forever a club legend.

I also believe the timing is right, looking forward rather back, really excited for the new season, to see the arrival of a new coach, some fresh faces, some new tactics, unlikely we'll ever reach the heights of peak Pep, but nothing lasts forever and the Pep era was always going to end.

All the best for the future Pep.

The greatest to ever do it. It's an absolute privilege to know that his biggest legacy as a manager is with us.

As a kid, I couldn't even fathom the idea of us playing in the Champions League. The full time whistle in 2023 literally stunned me into near silence. It didn't register until I saw Gundo lifting the trophy.

Truly and sincerely, thank you for everything.
