Manchester City are 132 years old. There will be life after Pep because Manchester City is bigger than any manager
Pep has written History at City that maybe nobody will ever reach again, I am talking ever ?
But if it's all about the glory that you love about Manchester City, then leave with Pep
This club means the world to so many fans and me, Glory is lovely, but wearing your colours when it was so bad and turning up on wet cold windy nights knowing your money spent on a ticket was keeping the club going, we were a (hand-to-mouth) football club and we loved it just the same
Agreed, and let's not forget we were winning trophies before he arrived, it's not like we were struggling and needed a top manager. This is a superbly well run club and I trust them to get it right, it won't be the shit show that the rags have endured since ferguson left, and they had 27 years to prepare for it. Gutted, but it has to happen sooner or later. If Pep does go I trust those in charge to choose his replacement, its obviously going to be a very tough act to follow but whoever it is they are going to need our support rather than slagging them off before they have even taken the job.
I hate the profession generally but they’re not going to wait for fucking Arsenal to finish. While Arsenal are beating Burnley ? Some timing that . Like I said there are no respected “journos” they are all leaches who would sell there mother for a story and a paycheque
I hate religion and politics mixing. Killing people on a mass scale no matter the people should be condemned. Let’s not turn on each other tho, it’s a forum for opinions.I'll be honest, I'm really struggling to accept this from you of all posters after some of the awful and disrespectful things you've said about Pep ever since we won the league in 2024. We've all had our hot-headed and frustrated moments after bad games across the last two seasons, but I think even with a cool head on non-matchdays you've shown very little in the way of affection or sentimentality towards him despite all he's done for us.
"The Spanish Stuart Pearce" (on two separate occasions), "His best years are behind him", crediting the 4-in-a-row to the players rather than Pep, "he's given up", "the Catalan Mark Hughes", "bored to tears watching his insipid football", blaming him personally for lost TV revenue, "I rarely have a clue what the fuck he's talking about", "he's washed", etc. And those are just from his performance threads across the last two seasons.
You've gloated for two years on this forum about apparently being "right" to call for his removal in the aftermath of the 2024 title victory but you've said virtually nothing about the FA Cup win over the weekend and all you had to say on the day we beat Arsenal to win the League Cup was "Bernardo counting the players in the tunnel. Need to count the fuckers on the field, because a few seem to disappear before getting on there."
And then there's this chestnut, which you posted after he spoke up about the suffering of innocent people in Palestine.
I'm gonna be reading (and posting) a lot of sentimental and emotional stuff about Pep over the next few months but I'm gonna take anything sentimental posted by you with a massive pinch of salt, because frankly all you've done on here for two years is smugly strut about declaring Pep to be "the Spanish Stuart Pearce" while staring at your watch waiting for the day he leaves. Now it's come time and you're trying to join in with the teary-eyed send off? Nah. Not on my watch.
Wouldn’t mind that guy from PSG, I love the way they play.Always fancied Emery with a well run club with funds like us..
I wanted vinny though..

Might stay tbfSuppose we"ll lose Pep Lijnders now too.?
A shame - going to be quite a tsunami through the club this.Yep hes contract is up same with kolo and that shit set peice coach
We won’t ever have another Pep.With you on this but my word is this hitting hard.
Pep has given us things we never even dreamt about and done it constantly.
The fear is that we never see anything like it again in our lifetimes right? So we do what we’ve always done and support the club and the guys that wear the shirt but it’s going to take some getting used to accepting the future.
I think it needs some punctuation or the poster to smoke less crackWhat in the fuck is this post?
Don’t be too down mate, look at how few points it’s going to take to win the title this year.I dont know its going to be hard watching us going from complete dominance to competing for the top 4 and a sporadic title now and again because that is how difficult the league has become due to the City/Liverpool battles effectively improving everyone below sonthey could stay in touch. Pep made the league more difficult and continued to evolve and dominate and just as he is close to his full transformation again he goes
Chelsea fan I know, who knows his stuff, said they looked very good with plan A most of the time, Maresca’s weakness is having a plan B in-game when something goes wrong.
Ironically that’s what one or two have said about Pep in the heat of the moment.
Just me clutching at straws that the BBC aren’t fully saying he’s leaving yetView attachment 192418
