Pep to leave at the end of the season

Doesn't anybody on here realise Pep has a contract until 2027?
Therefore he has a year left.
All this talk of him going is the red media and red cartel mardarses bollocks.
He looks energised. The team look hungry, I'd say he is ready for another season.
Nothing has to be announced because there is nothing to announce.

My days you were certainly in denial yesterday. Ha.

Were you just trying to convince yourself when you wrote this? ;-)

I find interesting that we’ve basically rebuilt the squad in the year Pep leaves, shows how much trust that the board have in Viana.

Not sure if you are you saying Sam Lee asked if the stand was being named after him, If you are it wasn't Sam Lee (football related) and James Ducker was the guilty party.
No i wasnt saying Sam Lee asked about the stand, he asked a technical ? and got a detailed response.

The moron, who as you say was Ducker asked the snidey question about the stand.

My loathing of these leeches knows no bounds.

Glad you're not making the big decisions mate. City have been successful because they've created a common DNA within the club. You only need to look around European football to see our ex academy players and staff everywhere, from managing CL Final teams to even running our current title rivals. Maresca is a product of that same DNA, if he comes he'll have everything he needs from the people he already knows. Simply carting in a big name is something clubs who haven't created decades of DNA do
Just the three mentions of DNA there. Rather raggy, if I do say so.

Always thought with what he’s done for City that it would have been a well choreographed departure to maximise showing our appreciation , feels like he’s slipping out the back door by leaving these rumours to fester.Wish he’d confirm or deny as the confusion will be more negative than an announced, planned departure

I mean they have won more than Maresca so I would think there is a higher chance.... ok Maresca beat PSG in a totally meaningless competition - I still don't think that's good enough to take over from Pep?
There are no meaningless competitions when you're in the final playing a top team. He won that and the Euro Conference and got them to 4th place in his first season, not a bad return for a club in the mess they were in. They've folded again since he left. Remember he's worked under Pep so we know what we're getting. Most of those who have left before haven't done too badly for themselves.

He might not be Pep II but I think it's a decent move, the club's owners know what they're doing and haven't let us down yet.
