Pep to leave at the end of the season

The guy who sits next to me got a text during the Brentford game from his friend who works at City. Gets him Wembley tickets, free tours for friends, stuff for raffles at charity events. The text said it had been announced internally before the game that Pep was leaving. I assumed it was rubbish, especially as no announcement came. But maybe not?
 
On the plus side, if there is one, which there isn't atm, Maresca will have all Summer to work the players and new signings. It wont be a shit show like at United.

This is what many were saying last night when some threw their entitled toys out of the pram. The club knows what it’s doing. Pep will have had the last say in this. Eventually it will be Vincent. We are not a two bob outfit like the rags. We plan long term.

It’s a World Cup year. Pre-season will be about three weeks long, some won’t play a single pre-season game if they get to the final.

Im not in the I want Maresca camp. Lets hope we never get that ‘ I told you so’ but also very different situations and we are much better ran than United. We need to have some faith.

I think the club have had tunnel vision on him from when he was assistant and his look doesn’t help either he’s basically a btec pep once we have a couple of bad results the media will absolutely destroy him

Don’t know about that, a fair few in this thread kicking up a stink. If he’s a stop gap until VK then that’s slightly different.
 
Think whoever follows Pep would get destroyed by the press after a few bad results, hard act to follow!
