Sounds like the club don’t know as Pep doesn’t know.

Some sponsor has been told that there could be a change of manager this summer and it’s snowballed from there.

By all accounts Pep has left ahead of schedule and there is zero other managers on the market. So who are we supposed to bring in?

At any given point companies have a list of candidates as contingency incase one of the SLT leave.
The same is true in football.
They do the same with players.

It’s not like they’ve gone fuck peps going let’s see who needs a job.
They would have had a short list and most likely touched base at different points over the years.

This might be a stop-gap for Vinny or someone else. It might work out and he’s amazingly successful, I hope he is.

But this is a conscious choice, not a choice because he’s available and willing to do the job.
Also Alonso was available until recently and he’s been more successful than Maresca.

At the end of the day the city board know more than me.
