Pep to leave at the end of the season

I think either he announces it himself at the press conference or nothing until Monday. I don’t think he wants to steal any limelight from Bernardo or Johnny Stones.

It will all become very clear from within very soon .
Until then everyone should stay calm & not read or listen to the toxic bullshitting by the press & news channels .
Keir starmer another idiot who has jumped the gun with his thoughts ,that guy will never learn ,the sooner he goes the better .

I heard that his family love the city (yes; even with the rain). They're pretty much adopted mancs now; didn't some of them go to uni in Manchester. Probably all speak like Paul Calf now!
You can imagine the conversation with Pep and his daughter. " R Dad, I'm just nippin to the asdaz do you want anything picking up?" "Just get load o wagon wheels love".

Maresca is going to have much time with the team , I just realised that , might be rough the start of next season. World Cup plus players have to have two weeks holiday. We might have half the team missing by community shield.

Depending on how far they go in the World Cup.
If Pep does walk away, he couldn't have chosen a more harmful time to do it than right before a World Cup - other than right after one.

Based on Pep’s comments about loving it here, still loving the job, being happy with the squad etc, do you believe there’s any chance at all that Khaldoon suggested to Pep that the time might be right for a change?

Keep in mind last season and our form before Christmas this season, when the decision was allegedly made.

Not saying this is my view, just thinking out loud!
Random, but if you are going down that route then I’d say much more likely Viana who’d have been suggesting a change might be good.

Surely if Pep is going then it is announced ahead of Sunday's game either today or at the press conference tomorrow?

It would be odd for him to leave without it being announced beforehand especially as the game has no title on it.

Imagine the scenes if he says nothing, then speaks to the fans on the pitch after Sunday's game and does a Wolf of Wall Street moment saying, "i'm not f**king leaving, the show goes on..." haha

Obnoxious rag **** Oliver Holt gone very quiet aswell .

Something very amiss here
I had the misfortune of being in a bar in Lisbon with Holt in Euro 2004. Drunken ****. All the football hacks were there together and quite a few were acting like twats. Worse than the fans they slag off in their reports. Totally changed my view of football journos that trip. Total dickheads most of them, with an inflated opinion of themselves.

Absolutely no chance

I actually think Pep could have all his bags packed and be in the departure lounge, but then change his mind. If that happened, Khaldoon would drop everything to fly in from Abu Dhabi to keep him. There's zero chance that Pep leaves on anything other than his own terms.

Pep says that he will meet with Khaldoon and that he does have a year left on his contract. I don't think that Pep has decided what he is going to do because his achievements this season feed into his decision-making process, hence you can only make a decision on your future at this moment.

IMO you should believe Pep rather than journalists who make money from publishing stories, any stories. I do not know if he will stay but I do think that he has yet to finalise his decision.

You never know. All the stress of splitting up with his wife. Maybe khaldoon thinks pep needs a break. They do seem very close
