Has anyone actually been named as the source of the news / leak?
A sponsor, apparentlyHas anyone actually been named as the source of the news / leak?
Fucking idiotsA sponsor, apparently
In sponsorship contracts (football or otherwise), businesses are required to notify sponsors of any change that could affect the value, reputation, visibility, or commercial impact of the deal. These clauses are standard across the industry. These include material changes, Pep leaving Manchester City is a material change.we are one of the biggest clubs in the world.
every company and his wife would love to sponsor us.
we get to pick and choose the lucky ones.
they don't get to say things like...
you must tell us in advance if the manager is leaving.
it is bullshit that this was where the story came from.
the key part of what i stated was "in advance".In sponsorship contracts (football or otherwise), businesses are required to notify sponsors of any change that could affect the value, reputation, visibility, or commercial impact of the deal. How much of our sponsorship deals are as a direct result of having the greatest manager in the world delivering 20 trophies in 10 years?
It is in advance, in fact it's as soon as it's known. If it was after they would know anyway?the key part of what i stated was "in advance".
P?On his Bournemouth vlog,Cheeseman and a contributor seemed to think P was the source of the leak.
Didn’t Cheeseman once say we were getting a 40 point deduction on the 115?On his Bournemouth vlog,Cheeseman and a contributor seemed to think P was the source of the leak.
we'll find out soon enough when they tell us.As I said above, assuming they wanted to tell us before Sunday what do you suggest the optimum moment was?
we will have to disagree on it, ste.It is in advance, in fact it's as soon as it's known. If it was after they would know anyway?
It's the same as when a company knows it will lose money and they have to announce a profit warning.
Say it quietly but he's a bit of a prick, I know him from the BBC Oxford street days.Didn’t Cheeseman once say we were getting a 40 point deduction on the 115?
I’d take what he says with a pinch of salt
The honour is yours, life's to short.we will have to disagree on it, ste.
whether the amount of the sponsorship is dependent or not on who the future manager is in no way affects that deal for this season, and this season has not yet concluded because he is still in place.
if he is leaving at the end of the season the sponsors will be notified then and only then..
i'll let you have the final word though :)
pete the badge?
You prefer we left the cartel media to crack on with their decade long attempts to destroy our club without comment?I’m watching it and it’s good @twosips . No idea why people (especially on here) feel the need to diminish others. But such is life.
Yea, none the wiser-I'll look him up. Cheers.pete the badge?
30% this season.99% of managers are sacked and the press tell us long before the official announcement!
Oxford Road, shirley :)Say it quietly but he's a bit of a prick, I know him from the BBC Oxford street days.
Andy Buckley was much nicer.
