Sure. It was said in reference to the whole season.Think that was a dig at the PL match rescheduling and having to play Bournemouth on the Tuesday.
Pep often covers more with less. And leaves things open-ended.

I enjoyed that, fair play to you, fair play to him too.
But... Everything he has said only reinforces my stance about them, as a collective.
So they have all known for months. They have also known City are trying to keep it under wraps. They knew Pep didn't want it brought up, or to distract from the season.
They supposedly have a job to report on what's going on (putting aside that it's bollocks, as that's not reporting on something going on, but turning valid enough rumours into stories) and have been desperate to report it.. sure.
So of all those months of knowing, and having a job to do and being desperate to report it - and they all chose the eve of the FA cup final, to grill pep every chance they got. To put words in his mouth. To try catch him out. To ask him immediately before the game. Immediately After the game. To sneak it in amongst other questions. To ask his players immediately after the game. To try catch Them out. To try get them contradicting him. Etc.
And then... when all that didn't work.. they just ran with it anyway! But! On the eve of a must win game to take it to the next day. When it was so clear at that point, that all Pep wanted to do was get to the last day, in a position to challenge, without distractions, and he would weather the storm himself if he had to.
What, they suddenly got new bits of information? No. JG actually says, Holt just decided to go for it. What, they suddenly had to do their job, that they had been sitting on for months? They couldn't wait another day, till after the game?
Bollocks. It was a calculated, maximum damage campaign, timed for that purpose alone. Not for their professional integrity, not in the interest of getting news out there, not even for reputational or financial gain. But to disrupt and interfere. With a club and manager trying so hard not to be interfered with. That has given them 10 years of solid gold for their jobs btw.
And THEN... even then.. they didn't stop to respect the game, but had to prod him on his reaction to it, the players' reaction. And obviously, continue after the game. And afterwards? Total silence! Sure, now they are happy to wait for the club to announce it.
They knew what they were doing. And when, and why they chose to do it.
SecondedTop post.
I often read on here about teams 'setting up' like this against us, but having watched the match involved that's not always been the reason that we faced two lines of defence. It is so much easier to play fast when you are Bournemouth. Try playing fast against a back five or six and up to three DMs. If teams had set up against us like they do when they play Bournemouth, Haaland would be on 40+ league goals a year and Cherki would break the assist record. He may be an excellent coach but I am reluctant to make a judgement of a manager of a team like Bournemouth.
I’m hoping he turns round and says he’s doing his last year, put these fkrs back in their boxSo is he going ? Confirmed or not ?
Serious question .Not scrolling through the last 100 pages
No he is a racist now, Keep up.pete the badge?
Swalesey.
Cunts the lot of them !I enjoyed that, fair play to you, fair play to him too.

It's not a case of diminishing others, it's a case of observing the football media's comments in relation to Manchester City. If you don't know what I am talking about, see Barney Ronay's article on Pep and the Dark secret which is a diatribe on the innate supremacy of liberal democracy over ex-colonies.I’m watching it and it’s good @twosips . No idea why people (especially on here) feel the need to diminish others. But such is life.
If I didn't know before, I sure as fuck don't know now. It's not a case of diminishing others, it's a case of observing the football media's comments in relation to Manchester City. Then you are an uneducated person, and you should learn some history. If I didn't know before, I sure as fuck don't know now.
If it hasn’t been for that snake Holt it would still be a rumour but it’s just awaiting the club and Pep’s announcement Probably tomorrow morning before he has to do his last pre-match PC Also strong rumours he bought a £13m property in Barca near his marital home where his ex and youngest liveThanks. I asked because pep leaving stories (like haaland and aguero leaving stories) are an annual event - a bit like the rags signing superstars stories tend to pop up when they want to sell season tickets.
I was wondering why this time the story was given credibility so quickly and reported so widely as fact ahead of any official news from the club.
all things considered,I love Cheeseman - I was at Junior Blues when I was a kid and he randomly came over to me asking if I wanted a signed Ali B shirt - slipped me the winning ticket that some kids had just given him and told me to say Id just found it. Class
and you are lacking a sense of humourThen you are an uneducated person, and you should learn some history.
I doubt the Manchester lads would have broken it That snake Holt is the man to blame think he and his rag newspaper had malicious intentI would guess some of the MEN fellas, Sam Lee, people like that. There are some that I feel get an absurd amount of abuse, mainly just for reporting negative news. I've seen people blame journos for City losing the title for breaking this story for example, which is absurd. As if anyone in an industry like this wouldnt go with a story this big
