I’ll do it for a year, top up my pension then go and Manage the Dog and Duck third team. I’ve read the odd Match Day Thread, plenty of knowledge on there to keep me going.
First thing you’ll be doing then, is asking to sign Pogba

We couldn`t afford the cake costs,Yaya has just become assistant at standard liege.
Could have had him :)

Is he the Dog or the Duck.
A strange thing to say full stop tbh 'regrets' is a strange term for being part of a successful club. It’s a little confusing to be going for Lillo again. He recently said something along the lines of he hates positional play, that it's destroying the game, and he feels he made so many mistakes as a coach in allowing this style. He want football to go back to it being the players that do it themselves, not the manager.
Basically him saying that he no longer likes football where it’s the system, the positions, that do the work. But we are literally the ultimate positional play team. So it doesn’t add up.
In an article for The Athletic he said he prefers international football as the players haven’t had enough time with their managers to become “trapped by their omnipotence.”
This is the article. He basically regrets that the style of football that we play ourselves has become global. He wants football to be about the players doing as they see fit. So either Pep has got bored and he’s going to ditch all his principles for a laugh, or this is a weird one.
An alternative analysis of the World Cup - by the man who helped shape Guardiola's City
At the World Cup, teams' styles are too similar, there are no bad or exceptional players and James Maddison is a geniustheathletic.com
Doesn’t sound like he regrets being part of the club, it’s tactical decisions across his career that he’s expressing regret about.A strange thing to say full stop tbh 'regrets' is a strange term for being part of a successful club.
If true, hopefully, he won't be getting his ungrateful feet back under our club desk.
Interesting article. Lot of truth in what he says but no revelations. Anybody who watches football without their blinkers on can see this. Agree that it seems a little strange if he's on his way back - think he'd be happier watching street football in some favela. It’s a little confusing to be going for Lillo again.
