He can’t speak a word of English, there’s a segment on it in the 4 in a row documentary. How is he meant to form close bonds with the players the way Arteta, Maresca & others have, and pass on his wisdom if he can’t communicate?

Must admit I got excited when I saw the title of this thread before realising it was an old one bumped up, I’m not sure Lillo is challenging Pep and his stubborn decisions enough? Or is he just a yes man?

Half thought he had moved on and thinking how Pep refreshed his assistants and if it was time to do so again. Gundog as player coach then full time next season? Think he's be like Arteta in that role.
