Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

I just think this season some of the teams have found out how to play us and win. Teams are starting to figure out Peps tactical set ups and how to beat him. Its to play "Anti Football" which people call it where they just sit back and counter with the long ball which we are incredibly vulnerable to.

Honestly would like us to do a change in tactics maybe go to a counter attacking style where teams have to come on to us with the players we have it would make sense to do that.

I doubt that will happen due to Pep loving control and possession but teams have started to figure out how to defend and hurt us. Its probably boring for their fans to watch but it works.

People have been repeating this at some point every season since Pep came. What does that even mean, found out how to play us and win? Do you think sitting back and countering with the long ball is something only devised this season? We’ve got the same number of points as we did at the same point last season - had teams found out how to play us and win last season? If not, then what is different this season, given we have accumulated exactly the same number of points?

It’s a completely baseless theory. The notion that after seven seasons various coaches have suddenly had a lightbulb moment in relation to Peo is just daft,


Great teams lose football games - and no amount of speculative theorising will ever change that.

great post, another thing churned out by the fucking clueless is hes got no plan b , when peps "problem" is he has too many plans sometimes .
