Sad end to a disappointing weekend. There is no one who can possibly replace Pep. The only manager even close is Alonso and he is almost certainly off to Madrid.

The other issue of concern is that if Pep is off then Txiki will be likely off as well.

Logistically, next summer is the worst year he could possibly leave. Club World Cup runs from mid-June to mid-July, so pre-season will be pretty much non-existent.

Worst possible time to change manager.

Given £2.5 Billion in prize money they will just have to work around it!

I can see teams entering full B teams for the League and FA Cups if the calendar gets much fuller.
