That's the one thing that would concern me. Even more than the 115 guff. He has spent an awful lot of time away from his family this last 8 years. He has sacrificed a lot in that time. Yes; he's been well paid. But I doubt he was short of a bob or three even before he came to us.

Suits some folk to be apart. Wouldn't suit me and OH, happily and contentedly joined like glue last 40 years.

But each to their own, some relationships thrive on a bit of long distance short separations
