Agreed. I was frothing after tonight after we let that lead go. Worse than Spurs. However I am cool not winning anything after the recent past. Just prefer an unlucky one goal reverse!
 
If it was a transitional season of bedding in new players, then fair enough. No-one’s ever done 4 in a row, never mind 5.

We’ve let him down badly and have one of the oldest, most-injury prone squads in the league. You can’t play 60 games a season of high intensity football without it taking a massive toll. Bernie’s only 30 but he looks a shell of his former self.

Right now I’d take 90 minutes.
 
I think this that Pep wants a small squad is one of the bigger mistakes he has made and it’s now showing. If one should be a little bit negative, we’ve been on a slippery slope ever since the CL final (which wasn’t very good either) and Rodri has saved us so many times alone. Now injuries and an aging and maybe complacent squad simply cannot do it any longer and we are paying the price for it. Can’t be too upset however considering the success we’ve seen in recent years. I just hope we are cleared from the 115 and then that Pep and Viana are able to build a new squad that can keep on challenging for honours.

I also think some of what is happening is due to the fact that we treat our legendary players with the respect they deserve. We will not stand in the way of them leaving, but neither will we force them out. It’s baffling however that we haven’t bought any backups to Rodri, Haaland etc, but maybe that’s because Txiki’s tenure is coming to an end or that we’re awaiting the results from the charges, who knows.
 
Pep can't be questioned. Any other man in charge and this would have happened three years ago. He got a treble winning squad, who had won three titles in a row to still go and win a 4th. This season is one too many.

We didn't lose. It felt like one, but that run is broken. Take the small "wins", build the confidence and go again.

We just have to get behind the lads and keep plugging away. Go again next season.

The only think he can be questioned on is recuitements or lack and quality of them.

I would imagine he has a huge say on that and rightly so.

A huge mistake to go into this season and have a small squad and a squad that had clearly aged too much and that was fatigued.

The lack of serious movement in the last window was utterly bizarre, I may be controversial here, but the title win last season was for me slightly fortunate and without doubt would not have happened without the loss to Real.

Last season we looked poor for so long, so the decision to go with basically the same players minus Alvarez who had scored and produced very good numbers was very weird.

The rebuild will take longer than his contract length.
This is not something that is sorted by a couple of new players in the summer
