Pep's contract situation

I remember getting tapped up to go to another company. The package & opportunity seemed fantastic. I gave my resignation & sat down with the GM & he asked me questions about the new gig I’d never considered. Those questions resonated over the first few months, the company was a basket case.
Thanks for the insight, David. Presume you preferred your stint at West Ham, then?

Pep loves and lives for challenges. With the change at Liverpool and Chelsea and now utd and the growing battles with Arsenal, surely he wants to be part of it all. Obviously not to mention some of the young and hungry players we have and maybe also the new format of that Champions League.
The new developments of the stadium, a new director to work with and so on.

He keeps saying how happy he is and how much he loves everything.

We then get cleared of 115. (hopefully)

All this surely points to him staying for a while yet.

I think this too. There’s no doubt the level of Liverpool under Klopp really excited Pep. The highest quality the Premier League has ever had.

More challenges now. Why would he leave, what’s he going to do with all that energy?

He has said before he runs out of energy due to mental exhaustion. He has also said he finds it increasingly difficult to motivate the same group of players season on season. To back this up he has taken breaks in his career between clubs.
Obviously I hope he stays for the next 20 years but the above are some of the facts that must be taken into consideration when debating his next move.

He also has a team around him and I’m sure that they might be looking to go home now, and that will be a significant factor in his decision
