It really is the elephant in the room this situation. My gut instinct is that the players already know his decision and he's calling it a day after the summer tournament. I'm expecting news in this international break
The obvious flaw in that argument is that in all likelihood the panel won't deliver a judgement for several months. If they wait for that then the club has no chance of getting a top level replacement if he's off. There will be no Decision on peps future until after these charges, its obviously linked. How can he make a decision when he may not fancy managing in league 2 as media would have us believe
Exactly. How can people not see this. How can the man make a decision if he doesn't know the outcome of caseExactly this. There will be no announcement until after the verdict and it’s hard to blame him for waiting tbh.
So, if they tell “us” - how would it help the club rebuild??Hanging over us like a bad fucking smell.
He’s giving us the Bayern vagueries.
Think he’s gone in summer and players know it.
Just wish they’d tell us so we can try to rebuild.
If city loose big they will appeal could drag on till season finished. The obvious flaw in that argument is that in all likelihood the panel won't deliver a judgement for several months. If they wait for that then the club has no chance of getting a top level replacement if he's off.
Imagine a pitch to Alonso, Nagelsmann or whoever along the lines of 'We don't know if Pep will leave or not but if he did would you be interested in being our new manager?'
Edit
Obviously you can turn that round by saying that a pitch to potential replacements as above wouldn't be great if it was 'We don't know if we will start next season in the Premier League or the North West Counties League but are you interested in being our new manager?' :)
