Pep's contract situation

has to be more than one season. otherwise it might be extra 5 months until end of November 2025 too. even if he does not want to stay a minute longer than extra 12 months make it a 3 year deal and with points in the contract making sure it can be cancelled without us paying a penny in 12 months and he can leave for free as well in 12 months time. leading up to summer 2025 our main transfer targets will have options to choose from. I dont want our pitch to be "join the farewell season of Pep" and their agents will ask us too of plans if not already asking us.

we need to rebuild and I hope Pep has the energy and motivation to oversee it.

Pep one year extension, gives Gundo a year to learn from the master and take the reigns the following year! Think I've nailed it!

But why do that?

Why not just bring a new guy in, let him choose who he wants staying/going and avoid the situation you refer to?

You'd actively get rid of our greatest manager ever, the best manager in the world currently, who knows the club knows how to win things, has been loyal and vocal in support of some accusations, who wants to be here for at least another year.. just because some new 'kid' that might not even be available or appropriate might not like players we might buy 8 months from now?

Ffs mate. Have you run out of butter?

What ever the case just needs to be decided soon enough can’t be going in too the business end of season still undecided who our manager is going to be in the new season
