Pep's contract situation

Trying to find out if it's 2. I was told 1 more year had been agreed yesterday, but maybe there's an option of an extra year for City.

EDIT:

It's a 1 + 1 deal. City have a unilateral option to make it 2 if they want. Guess it will depend on if Pep wants to stay beyond next season but at least it's there. Much better than 1 year IMO.

Think we can safely assume Lionel will be joining us then....

2 years would be ideal for all parties. Team will be a little more mature and whoever is Pep's successor will be either more experienced or ready for a new challenge by then. I don't believe its realistic to expect Pep to manage us for any longer, it would have been a much longer tenure than either he or everyone connected with City would have expected

If he signs sit back and enjoy, it has been wonderful to date.
