I don’t think we should use trophies to judge everything, he was okay but I do believe pochettino is overrated. He was good but people are regarding him now like he is some sort of messiah.I agree

People keep using champions league final but if people look at the league results the second part of the season Tottenham were in relegation form and could not win an away game in the prem.

Pep looks very happy.I suspect this decision/situation was weighing heavy on him and he is relieved as any of us to stabilise his position and future.

You cant know much about him if you think thatCan only see him going on to manage Spain after City.
Spain manager doing a good job so until that frees up then City is the place for him
He has everything he needs at City with the possibility of Messi linking up again

I'm almost suprised that I'm not suprised!
COVID messes up a lot of things and will do for next year. Then we'll see where the cards land w/r/t the finances, power and politics of each league and club. So it makes sense for both sides to firm up our our current arrangement. I noticed one or two other clubs are seeing their sponsors look for ways to reduce their deals. City are sorted. Pep is sorted.
The performances from the new signings have convinced me we aren't simply going backwards. There's a new, young team to build on and bring to fruition. Bit of a situation w/r/t midfield balance, but we'll see what happens.

Potch did a half decent job at Southampton and got spurs into the top four and a good run in the CL
The same could be said about Harry Redknapp

Yep, i genuinely thought it was on the table in the summer but will certainly happen in Jan as it wont need to go through the courts. That and the chairman recently left Barca. Cards are all stacked and in order...it must be a done deal in jan ? because all the signs with barca in trouble and needing a wage cut also messi out burst again and now pep signs a new deal now and not in the summer ?
