What a shit year, my condolences to Pep and everyone else who has lost family/loved ones.

Firstly - so sad that this has happened.
Understand the loss only too well - the extended family have now lost 2 to this horrid outbreak
I'll donate towards anything people come up with.
I'd like to include condolences for all loved ones lost, and a thank you to key workers as well though.

That's a great idea mate. I wonder if any Spanish based or Spanish Speaking Blues would be able to help make that happen?

I think the donations idea maybe a better idea. I mean no offense but if it was me I wouldn't really like the idea of something so personal being put in a newspaper It will be everywhere as it is, he knows we support him so maybe making a donation to a charity in his mothers name is more subtle. It's all about opinions though.
