Our Manager made me as proud as ever to be a City fan today.
The fans of this Club have had to take unbelievable bile and vitriol from a compromised, corrupt and self-interested media for attempting to defend the actions of the Club we support against a coordinated campaign from the old elite clubs in this country and abroad. Clubs who have shown themselves to be completely incapable of fighting our challenge fairly on the pitch - so have resorted to trying to attack us unfairly off the pitch. They have failed - time and time again.
They tried through FIFA, and failed. They tried through the FA - they failed again. And they really tried to finish us through UEFA - and gloriously, perfectly - failed all over again. Their last throw of the dice is to try through the Premier League - and they'll fail once more.
At which point, maybe they'll have to try and get their shit together to beat us on the pitch. This is all Pep wants - and this is all our Club wants - to compete, and to try and win on the pitch.
Liverpool beat us on the pitch this season - fair enough. We accept that, and we try again next season. We don't call a meeting of owners from the other top clubs, and conspire to have them removed from competition - paying off morally bankrupt hacks to throw outrageous accusations at their Manager the moment he sits down to do his press conference after winning the League.
That's why I'm proud to be a City fan - because our Club is different to those other self-entitled, sanctimonious cheats and their fucking letter.
We're better than that - better than them - and our Manager told them what we all know of them today.
He made me as proud as ever of our Club, and showed them all he's one of us!
