Pep's Press Conference | Reaction to CAS Verdict | Video (Pg 11) | Embargo (pg 57), Video (pg 58)

This might be Pep simply releasing his personal angst. I don't think for one moment the club are asking him to front the clubs response

I am hoping that similar to the way the club responded calmly but strongly 4-5 days after the announcement of the ban that they will be planning to do the same once the full judgement from CAS is released.

In the meantime a good few club executives, managers, media ‘personalities’ and ‘journalists’ will hang themselves.

I hope we are biding our time and ready to lay down the fact that there will be repercussions should it continue.

For Pep - great that he’s got it off his chest but we all know the media will try and make this run and run. Think he will need support from the execs at the club.

Enjoyed that from Pep, can see how frustrated he's been. Mourinho and Klopp can just fuck off.

Exactly...looking back after hearing Pep has been rousing the team in the dressing room, it was great to watch us dismantle the dippers the other week, and makes Bernardo blanking them on the guard of honour even more special

I'm sure if Khaldoon were to speak, he would want to be asked about, and refer to, specific parts of the judgement so that we can make our messaging clear and simple.

Klopp said he didn't like the idea of us not playing chumps league because we would have 12 games less a season and be able to rest players - just like he does not competing in the FA and League Cups!
Also he should be careful, managing a team whose owners are guilty of systematic cheating in US sports, LFC fans commiting murder, illegal activites under the data protection act, physical intimidation and assault of opponents and waring loud clothing in a built up area.
But what I think you are failing to understand is that alleged misrepresentation of sponsorship income is infinitely worse than murder, cheating, spying and bus smashing. All these are just fun and banter by loveable Scouse scallywags ! Know what I mean la ?

One senior #PL club executive described himself as “flabbergasted” in reaction to the CAS decision. European club directors rapidly exchanged messages, consulted external advisers, and deliberated whether to lobby UEFA to take #ManCity to a Swiss federal court. [
@TheAthleticUK

I think that was a tweet from David Ornstein who is, apparently, very close to Arsenal.

8 of the top 10 Premier League clubs sent a formal letter to both UEFA and CAS asking for us to be banned from European football until after the appeal the only two not on it were us and Sheffield Utd. It is widely believed that Arsenal were the main instigator of this though if that is true or not I dont know (interesting in the interview Pep saves 'Liverpool, Manchester Utd and especially Arsenal' make of that what you will)
Lets hope payback starts on Saturday!
