Pep's Press Conference | Reaction to CAS Verdict | Video (Pg 11) | Embargo (pg 57), Video (pg 58)

I’ve now had time to reflect on all that’s been said by Pep, Flopp and Maureen.
Firstly Maureen, what he actually said was correct and it’s the press making out he slagged is off. He’s correct, the fact we received a fine is disgraceful as we did nothing wrong.
Secondly Pep. We always loved Mancini as he “got” us. However, I’ve never been more proud to be a blue as when Pep spoke. He “gets” us. The man is a legend.
Finally Flopp. A wolf in sheep’s clothing. What a bitter cûnt he really is. Clearly has no clue about FFP. Says how well it works in Germany! Bayern have won the league 8 times in a row you thick twat. Might as well be Celtic!!!!
Makes you wonder why the well informed press didn't ask Klopp about Munich's run....it's almost like they're all in it together.

Standard Chartered has been ordered to pay $1.1bn (£842m) by US and UK authorities to settle allegations of poor money-laundering controls and breaching sanctions against countries including Iran.

The British bank has agreed to pay $947m to American agencies, including the US Department of Justice, over allegations that it violated sanctions against a string of countries including Iran.

Separately, it was fined £102m by the Financial Conduct Authority for anti-money-laundering breaches that included “shortcomings” in its counter-terrorism finance controls in the Middle East. It is the second-largest fine ever imposed by the UK regulator for anti-money-laundering failures.

I got very excited how pep started he will do his talking on the pitch.

No fucking about next season, we are going on a full offensive. RIP all-comers...

I can see pep staying for another 2-3 years to build a second truly great squad and lead us onto European domination after this.

He is seriously fired up.

For those that can't see tweets, this City fan (slbsn) has a very decent knowledge of all this:

'Although there is no explicit statute of limitation in the PL rules, it is an English company and the rules likely to be governed by English law and I would think any action would be a form of contractual claim bound by the Limitation Act 1980 with a 6 year statutory limit.'

Isn't that @projectriver who along with Prestwich_Blue gave us all the details of CAS recently in the other thread?

Loving all this from Pep but what i really want to see is Kaldoon coming out with an interview similar to his last one.

The always puts the points across so well in a measured way.

I hope this happens very soon but guess we will have to wait for the detail from CAS first.

There is a little matter of taking care of some business FIRST, before Khaldoon gives his end of season “State of Man City” sit down. I would imagine he would rather see what happens ON THE PITCH first, THEN address a few pressing matters.

Maybe, City will keep their powder dry for any revenge attacks, rather than gloat or use this opportunity to hit back. A few knowing nods and winks in the right direction will have others sucking seat cushions up their arse.

Conversely, who wouldn’t like to see a nice 10, 15, or even 30 minute dissection of UEFA, FFP, and the organized cabal trying to both ruin our reputation AND our sporting chances?!

Roll a few grenades across the floor and watch the hypocritical scum scatter...
