Etihad stadium empty at the end of last season,spoilt brats who had gorged on a few years of success,to the point where they couldn't be arsed to give the manager who had overseen some of the most exciting football seen at City for 4 decades a bit of a send off. Enjoying the pressers after a three year break. Think the journos need to start with a courteous 'Good morning' to Pep before asking their question. Lack of it seems to tick him off.
 
Guys please stop dissing our previous managers. And MP of all ppl. He is a very good coach, who has the balls to play attacking football. He did many good things for us. We played some fantastic football, maybe not consistently at a high level. But the bad results dont automatically fall entirely at the coach's feet. Many players had become too big personalities. So they have to take a fair share of the blame too.

In any case, MP is a above average coach. Pep rates him highly. Spain rates him highly. South America rates him highly. However u like to spin it, you cannot bring a club like Villareal with its measly budget & small fan-base to the semi-finals of the Champions League. And he is a classy man. In spain, its a cultural thing to never ever question the coach. So the coach doesnt hv to be the biggest personality in the dressing room. He is respected for his tactical & coaching decisions. Only in England, the players are bigged up to be more powerful than heads of state. And leadership is overhyped in english football. Cant blame MP totally if he expected the same professional behavior from players that he saw in Spain.

As usual: please stop talking about Pellegrini, just listen to a bunch of us tell you how good he is & accept how wrong you are to crticise him, without saying anything (& if you do reply, you will be responsible for going off topic).

Well he's in China now, not the Premier League, where he said he wanted to stay, or in Spain where he is rated so highly, & where Gary Neville & David Moyes got jobs, but not Pellegrini.

Best part of that was Pep being genuinely excited by some of the young players we have recruited for our various age groups over recent years. It's great to know that he's already fully aware of them.

I think they are as in awe of him as we are. They probably seek his approval. They've seen him exclaim "what the fuck?" when asked a shit question, so now they almost want to impress him with their questions. Pep is dominating them. It's hilarious. They were all scared to ask follow up questions about the Yaya situation until there was only one English question left.

Yeah, it's great that we can finally get excited about some of our future prospects. Think he said there were 4 or 5 around Brahim's age that have a chance, which must be superb for them to hear the 1st team manager say that.
